Color By Letter Worksheets for Preschoolers
Our Color By Letter Worksheets for Preschoolers can help make learning the letters of the alphabet fun for young children. As preschoolers follow the Color Key to fill in each segment of the picture with the corresponding color, their efforts will bring the image to life as they practice identifying the letters they see.
These worksheets create a great opportunity for children to use creativity and repetition to grow their ability to recognize upper and lowercase letters of the alphabet.

Our Color by Letter Worksheets come in two different stages of difficulty to meet your child at their level and offer a challenge when they’re ready for it. Challenge Color by Letter Worksheets
Our challenge Color by Letter Worksheets are similar to the beginner worksheets but feature only lowercase letters and more of them. Your child will also find smaller segments that need to be filled in with the correct color.

⭐ Color Prep
Have your child locate alphabet magnets or beads that match the letters used in the picture. Then, lay the correct crayon next to the magnet or bead. This can help your child work on these pictures independently.
⭐ Bonus Words
As they color the sections matching each letter, ask them to name words related to the picture that start with that letter. For example, if they’re coloring a picture of ice cream and working on the sections labeled C, they might say “cone” or “cold.”
⭐ Letter Story
After your child finishes coloring in their picture, help them make up a silly story about what’s happening in the picture using as many words as possible that start with the letters shown in the picture.
