Activities to Extend Learning with the Vowel Worksheets

Children use their completed worksheets as a guide to find objects around the house or classroom that contain the same vowel sounds.
⭐ Vowel Storytime
Challenge children to write a short story using words with either a specific vowel sound (the long vowel sound of “e,” as in “eel” and “easel) or as many different vowel sounds as possible.
⭐ Vowel List
Have your child pick one of the vowel sounds featured in a completed worksheet. Encourage them to make a list of other words that have the same vowel sound in the margins of their worksheets.
