4-Letter Sight Words
Sight words, also known as high-frequency words, are words that appear frequently in books and conversation. Children should first try decoding these words with the phonetic rules they’ve learned. Words don’t always follow phonetic rules, which is when children may need to learn to recognize them on sight.
